Endless Variations
This quilt pattern can be made very simply, with two colors for a streamlined, classic look. Or you can go to the opposite extreme and let it be fun and scrappy. Here are the beautiful variations made by my talented group of testers. Get inspired by all their beautiful versions.
I absolutely love this scrappy version made by Amanda Smith. She used a rainbow of scraps with a pinstripe fabric for the larger squares and the result is stunning!
Ellen went for a fun and brightly colorful version with her starry fabric. Isn’t this the sweetest?? It’s such a happy quilt.
Mary’s simple and classic two color version is made extra special with that woven striped fabric! It makes the pattern look even more intricate but still simple and elegant.
Lynn played around with her checker blocks and came up with a fun and unique layout for her brightly colored Weston Quilt. I think this was inspired by a favorite sports team.
Ok, who doesn’t love a Rifle Paper Co floral?? I can’t ever resist and that dainty floral makes this quilt so sweet and special. Alicia made the two color version and it’s SO pretty.

I’m in love with this double gauze fabric bundle I got from Fabric Worm. You can get one here. I used this bundle to make such a fun gradient version of the Weston quilt. I didn’t need any background fabric for this one. I love the flow of colors and this quilt is soooooo soft.
