Description
The Uppercross quilt was inspired by timeless and classic quilt design. It was written with a nod to heirloom quilts and given a modern update. The small chain gives this quilt a delicate feel. It is written with instructions to use strip piecing techniques, and the quilt comes together easily using this method, without having to manipulate many small squares. This quilt looks beautiful in many different color ways, make sure you browse through all of the product images, and check out my blog post highlighting the tester versions to get inspired. This quilt was named after one of the old great houses mentioned in Jane Austen’s Persuasion. For a more modern version of this quilt, check out the Uppercross Cottage Quilt.
