*All Sara Lucille Patterns assume width of fabric (WOF) to be 42” wide from selvage to selvage.  (If your WOF is less than 42”, you may need more yardage than is listed.)

*Pattern includes beautifully illustrated diagrams, clear written instructions, alternate color ideas, and a coloring page to plan your project.

*Fabric labels are included and can be printed on 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper.

Description

Inspired by a perfectly manicured, manor house garden, Barton Park embodies a clean and sophisticated beauty.  Can you imagine the crisply trimmed hedges and rose bushes as you wander along swept paths?  Influenced by Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, the Barton Park Quilt embodies the characteristics of both sisters, Elinor and Marianne.  Block 1, “Marianne”, is blooming and dramatic, while Block 2, “Elinor” is structured and prim.  Together, they complement each other to create an elegant and beautiful pattern.

Barton Park can be made in many different colors and variations.  Depending on where you place your colors, the quilt can have a completely different look.  For some ideas, check out the Barton Park Blog Post and find inspiration for your own version.
